Urtekram hat den vergangenen Jahrzehnten den dänischen Lebensmitteleinzelhandel als Anbieter eines riesigen Sortiments mit bis zu 1000 Artikeln in den Basisbereichen ausgestattet. Das wirft bei fortschreitender Marktentwicklung immer die Frage auf, auf welche Produkte man wirklich spezialisiert ist. Urtekram stellt in eigener Regie hochwerige Reiswaffeln her, die sich in Geschmack und Nährwert wirklich sehen lassen können.

Außerdem hat Urtekram eine Serie von Bio-Fertiggerichten in TK-Qualität entwickelt, mit denen man moderne Bio-Haushalte jederzeit überzeugen kann.

Urtekram Int. A/S ist bereits seit 1972 als Distributeur von Bio-Lebensmitteln in den Wettbewerb mit konventionellen Produkten eingestiegen. Die Firma hat für ihre hochwertigen Bio-Produkte viele Preise gewonnen. So hat sie gerade erst den Børsen´s Food Award für das mittelscharfe Curry gewonnen, 2007 den gleichen Preis für die Erdbeer-Konfitüre von Rigioni und 2005 den Bio-Preis in Gold für die Dinkelflocken. Urtekram Int. A/S hat ganz sicher das größte dänische Sortiment an Bio- und Fair-Trade-Artikeln aufgebaut. Das Sortiment umfaßt nahezu alles von Schokolade, Tee, Kaffee, Baumwolle bis zu Shampoo und Rohrohrzucker, Urtekram Int. A/S bietet heute über 1000 Artikeln, darunter z.B. Reiswaffeln, Frühstücksprodukte aller Art und Trockefrüchte.

Right since the beginning in 1972, Urtekram Int. A/S has been dedicated to creating and distributing organic products of such high quality that they could compete with the conventional products.

The company has received awards several times for their organic products and have just won Børsen's Food Award for their spiced, medium-strong curry. In 2007, the Italian strawberry marmalade from Rigioni also won Børsen's Food Award, whilst in 2005; the company received Organic Gold for Urtekram Spelt Flakes. Urtekram Int. A/S has considerable focus on fair trade and has developed Denmark's largest range of organic, Fair Trade certified products. The broad range covers everything from chocolate, tea and coffee to cotton wool and shampoo with Fair Trade certified cane sugar. In the Fair Trade range, high quality and sustainability always go hand-in-hand.
Urtekram Int. A/S has over 1,000 different products in the range, including Rice galettes, breakfast products and sundried fruit.
